迈克尔·杰克逊逝世这震惊和悲痛的消息后，美国的电视制作人Jerry Biederman立刻联络国际知名的点彩画家David Ilan，他决定把作品上的每一点连系到一个真实的人。成为作品一部份的每一个人可随点点附上一则信息。大家可以在网上(www.SupportJacksonPortrait.com)免费登记点点。在画布上的每一点都是大家正式登记后才画上去的。

ongratulations and thank you for becoming part of the biggest Michael Jackson Tribute in the world. The portrait of Michael can only be completed when fans participate so your involvement is very important.

You can now log into http://www.michaeljacksontributeportrait.com/home.php and check your profile to see your dot number. Artist David Ilan will place your dot by hand on the canvas very soon. The "Artist's Log" on the Portrait Update page (http://www.michaeljacksontributeportrait.com/portraitupdate.php) will include your dot number when your dot has been placed. Check back often to find out what area of the portrait your dot is located and to watch the portrait progress.

You can now go to http://www.michaeljacksontributeportrait.com/user_blog_entry.php to write your message to Michael. Your message can be any length.

If you are interested in getting a copy of the portrait when it is completed, please consider pre-ordering it now. 100 percent of your purchase will be used to fund the Tribute. The Michael Jackson Tribute Portrait is funded by the fans. Also, I am in contact with charities that were close to Michael's heart to arrange for donations to be made to them after the portrait is completed.
