今天我在MaxJax看见刚巧有人也提了这样的问题“MJ and women as predators”(MJ和女猎者)
http://www.maximum-jackson.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=13740
The Temptress represents temptation of any kind or distraction away from the hero's main task - in Michael's case, the path to God.
What MJ said in Moonwalk: "If this song, and later "Billie Jean," seemed to cast women in an unfavourable light, it was not meant to be taken as a personal statement. Needless to say, I love the interaction between the sexes; it is a natural part of life and I love women. I just think that when sex is used as a form of blackmail or power, it's a repugnant use of one of God's gifts."
Is actually definitely about the Hero V. the Woman as Temptress. It's not Michael blacklisting women per se, but him exploring the struggles both symbolically and realistically between the sexes or within the self.
What's most interesting in his lyrics of this nature is that it is not the Temptress who is especially important. It's not her we should be focusing on as she's there to drive the story on. No, the real focus of those songs is always on how the male reacts to the Temptress' attempted seduction which in various forms of literature is about stopping the Hero accomplish his mission. The Temptress is about trapping the Hero - "She's trapped me in her heart!" or "I fell trapped into her web of sin". Michael portrays the Hero as desperately trying to escape from the trap that threatens his life, well-being and soul. This comes across especially in his vocals - Heartbreak Hotel is a PRIME example of that. That is a slice of lyrical and musical genius.
