I was really shocked when i first heart it! It just ticks me off that his cries for help were ignored. michael have lupus, and was in a lot of physical pain and pain medications are highly addictive. And his fucking stupic doctors used him just for money.

Morphine这首曲子，我一开始听觉得很像“意识流”文学作品。之后了解到MJ爱读心理学作品后，我就更确认这首曲子是MJ对“意识流”的创作手法的大胆尝试。

“意识流”是心理学词汇，注重描绘人的意识流动状态，包括清醒的意识，更包括无意识、梦幻意识和语言前意识。
在假定没有其他人倾听的情况下，一个人物把自己的所感所思毫无顾忌的直接表露出来，就是「内心独白」。这是意识流最常见的手法。
Morphine中，很强烈且变幻莫测的内心独白（或是间接的独白）穿插于全曲，强调瞬间感觉，而且可以说没有顾虑、或是被他人的感受所牵制。
