EXCLUSIVE: Late-night "munchies" make Michael sick as a dog at lavish party

MICHAEL Jackson's £5million fee for just turning up at a birthday party is enough to make anyone sick.
But who'd have thought the man himself would end up going even paler than usual before fleeing to throw up in a bathroom?
The man who once blamed it on the boogie even had the cheek to blame it on the buffet... but he'd spent the night before getting totally plastered.
Jackson, 48, turned all sicko on the second day of HRH Prince Azim of Brunei's 25th birthday bash on Saturday night.
He was overheard moaning: "I am feeling sick, I had to go to the bathroom to vomit. I want to go now! Please call the prince, I want to say goodbye."
And he added to another party guest: "I am feeling so ill and so weak. I think it must be the food. I feel terrible."
Oh yes, "the food".
The night before, he got stuck into so much booze at a casino-themed buffet he had to be helped back to his cottage in the grounds of Stapleford Park, Leicestershire.
An onlooker says: "He was unsteady on his feet after becoming a bit too enamoured with all the tequila and vodka on offer. He didn't seem to have a care in the world and eventually called it a night around 5am."
Of course, when you've had a skinful, the one thing you don't need the next day is a load of rich food. Our impeccable source tells us: "The prince had laid on 15 kilos of oysters, Scottish salmon, cold sliced fillets of English beef, 200 oyster platters, and £1,000 worth of exotic fruit.
"But Michael turned his little nose up at that and sent staff out for cod and chips instead. They ended up going to a chippie near Melton Mowbray."
Guests at the opulent event - which cost £7m - included Jerry Hall, Don Johnson, Samantha Mumba, Caprice and designer Roberto Cavalli.
No expense was spared, with guests treated to hot-air balloon rides, hovercrafting, falconry, shooting and golfing.
Poor old Jackson hardly went out at all during the day on Saturday but bravely made it to the ball in the evening. A partygoer tells us: "The prince came over and asked whether Jackson was OK because he'd heard he was unwell. Jackson said he was all right, having a great night, but he was tired and wanted to leave.
"The prince said it was fine but looked disappointed and walked off. Jackson then turned to his bodyguard and snapped, 'Why did you tell him I was feeling sick? I got paid to be here.'"
And there was one classic piece of farce to come.
Our source says: "He then went back to his cottage and accidentally broke a fire door in the process." |
