的确,drug可以泛指一切药物,但也有一个意思是“something and often an illegal substance that causes addiction, habituation, or a marked change in consciousness”。 Good Job!Lisa and Oprah!50年后,还有谁知道真相?
We all know lots of people including famous hollywood stars, atheletes, politicans who for a period in their lives had a prescription drug problem. And they are never referred to as DRUG ADDICT. When you say drug addict you immediately think of someone strung out on crack, snorting cocaine, shooting herione. The deceptive media wants the public to have this image of MJ. And it angers most of you. The media don't do this to ELVIS PRESLEY.
However, we have to get back to “the drug issue” since Oprah, not to anyone’s surprise, made it such a focal point of the interview. This subject has already been hashed out in numerous other blogs and reviews of the show, and I can’t add much here except to say I agree. My biggest concern is how this misinformation will ultimately affect Michael’s legacy and, more immediatly, the outcome of Murray’s trial. Interviews like this, in which family members and people close to him like Lisa Marie, continue to feed into the “drug addict” line, can ultimately affect the trial’s outcome if enough people come to believe that Murray was simply a pawn in Michael’s own addiction and downward spiral. And yes, interviews like this can be entered as evidence, if the defense requests it and the judge grants it!
