刚刚在翻看这本书，发现一段话，个人觉得很有问题，是个误导，那段话是这样的：
多年以来，人们都相信杰克逊试图通过隆鼻改变他鼻子的形状和结构，尽管这被他本人否认了，但无法否认的是自从《Thriller》唱片发行后 ...

你看到的那段只是书中引用社会上的某些人对迈迈的误解，
并且重点是在后面的第97页，书中对社会上的这种错误的观点作了反驳：
在书原文的 第三章
第97页:

As he did in Moonwalk, he opened up to Winfrey about his unusual childhood, and the loneliness he felt growing up in the public spotlight. Jackson also again refuted a number of the stories that had been written in the press. Perhaps the most revealing piece of information from the interview was that he finally explained the reason for the lightening of his skin. In the mid-1980s, he had been diagnosed with vitiligo, a dermatological condition that causes depigmentation.

书中已经很清楚的为迈迈做了澄清，迈迈是因为生病才导致的！
