Second Message From Big Al
Big Al was working at Michael`s Neverland Valley Ranch for many years managing the amusement park and theatre. He has always been a special person for everyone visiting one of the most wonderful places on earth. He has never spoken about Michael Jackson in public but now he is breaking his silence for a second time to share some wonderful and touching memories. And we really appreciate that!
A week has gone by and at least I have been able to make a few phone calls. I have reached out to several friends who, like I, had a close relationship with Mr. Jackson. We told story after story of the great times … the times we got to make Michael laugh and the times he made us laugh. We talked about the children living with life threatening diseases and how a day at Neverland made them (and their families) forget about their pain and suffering. How rewarding and what an honor it was to be part of that experience for that family … to be part of the magic of Neverland.
Someone asked me if I had to pick one thing about those years at the ranch that stood out … one story … what it would be. After some thought, I said that is an impossible question to answer … I could not pick one … there are too many and they were all tied for 1st. After some more silence … it came to me. I could answer the question by giving you my job description … my job was to entertain the biggest entertainer the world has ever known. WOW!!! I got to make him laugh, relax, have fun with his children, be a kid. Unless you were me, I don’t know if you can totally get that. But if you can only ‘half’ get it … it should bring a tear to your eye. I am so blessed.
I miss you so much Michael …
