　　《暮光之城》根据女作家史蒂芬·梅尔(Stephenie Meyer)的畅销书改编，故事主要讲述了一个少女和一个吸血鬼的爱情故事，影片由克里斯汀·斯图尔特(Kristen Stewart)、罗伯特·帕丁森(Robert Pattinson)、凯姆·吉冈戴(Cam Gigandet)、凯南·鲁兹(Kellan Lutz)、泰勒·洛特(Taylor Lautner)等主演，将于今年11月21日上映。

据《综艺》报道，虽然距离《暮光之城》（Twilight）首映期11月21日仍有一个多月的时间，但环球旗下的电影工作室顶点娱乐（Summit Entertainment）已经开始酝酿影片的续集。看来，环球是希望借助该系列打造出如《哈利波特》的票房神话。 事实上，顶点娱乐作出该决定不过是水到渠成的事。该片的电影原声带目前在亚马逊网上的预订量已经跻身前五名，相关的主题日历也在短短几天内卖光。此外，由于《哈利波特与混血王子》宣布推迟到明年上映，《暮光之城》提前到11月份以填补空缺，如此一来，在票房销售方面也将出现最有利的局势。种种迹象表明，《暮光之城》绝对是支潜力股，那么趁热打铁自然也就不是什么意外的事。 《暮光之城》改编自女作家史蒂芬·梅尔（Stephenie Meyer）的畅销作品，讲述了一对苦命鸳鸯的爱情故事。人类少女贝拉·斯旺（克莉丝汀·斯图尔特 饰）在福克斯邂逅了男主角爱德华·卡伦（罗伯特·帕丁森 饰）——一个英俊且坚持素食主义的吸血鬼。两人迅速擦出爱火花，但由于贝拉身上拥有特殊香气，令爱德华一闻到就想吃她。为了爱，他只能拼命压抑自己的食欲，并要和其他觊觎贝拉的吸血鬼争斗，尽全力保护自己的爱人。 原书《暮光之城》系列被誉为《哈利·波特》之后最受欧美青少年欢迎的畅销小说。该系列前三部《暮色》、《新月》、《月蚀》英文版销量近300万册，版权转授30多个国家。影片改编自该系列的首部。目前仍未知导演凯瑟琳·哈德维克是否将继续为续集掌舵。
