CALL FOR DUTY:4 It is a game, but not just a game. On Oct.20th, 2008, when I first contacted this game, I was shocked by its unbelievable incredible images, you can see the roughness iron-fillings, falling feather form flying eagle, the shadow when you pass the window, and even you can get “swirl” when the flash-boom exploded, more over the body shaking while opening fire, and countless of materials, actions and missions. C.F.D, or the developer wants to show us more than the skills of battle, the cooperation with teammates, the excitement of the vision and the sense of hearing, the game put you in a really combat, you will understand what does glory and duty, justice and devil, friendship and death means to a warrior. I was cried when I came to the end today. At the beginning of the game, I’m a freshman, I got to learn how to use the weapon, what to do when I face the enemy, and then the mission I took one by one, harder and harder. Some times my status is S.A.S---Special tack force of U.K, another time I’m the marines of U.S.A. Also I act as many roles: sniper, gunner of AC-130, soldier of military teams, but my team has a final goal: Whatever it takes, complete the mission! During the six hours, we found a document about terrorists’ plot on the waving ship in the Pacific Ocean, we got a friend out in the civil-war of Russian, we took part in the Third Mid-east War, we permeated the ghost town--Chenorbelly to snip, we stopped guided missiles which aimed at east coast-line of America, we executed six principal terrorists target. But we lost so much. In the last level, we had destroyed the nuclear guided missiles and returning base, the enemy sent six arm-helicopters to kill us, also with more than 100 soldiers by truck. When we arrived a bridge, the enemies destroy the only way back and, only three of us survived. Our captain was so badly hurts that can’t move, so do I. The other Asian teammate save my life under fire, but has been shot for covering my body… Finally, the head of terrorists get off the helicopter surround by two safeguards, shooting my dying teammates. When he puts a gun on me, I can do nothing because there is not weapon on me and badly injured. Suddenly, his helicopter has been taken down, it’s our ally—plenty soldiers form Russian! And this is the last chance to kill the bad guy! My captain run out his last breathe to throw his handgun to me, with the last 5 bullets and 2 seconds, target down, nice and clear. Before I “dizzy”, I saw my captain closes his eyes slowly, but with a small on his face, it seems he wants to say “Good work, my boy…” Though the Russian come to give him first aid, my captain never moves again… Some other Russian holds me up to the helicopter, one old soldier hold my hand and say “We won’t go to leave you, my friend…” I can’t hold back my tears any more. Most people thought playing computer games no more than wasting times and money, and get body harms. It depends, most game does injure the teenagers, but some like C.F.D is not only a game but also a vivid class, teaching us become a true man: a man who love his people, a man who love his country, a man who love this world, a man who will fight for these, a man who will been call for duty.
