时尚设计师Van Pier 告诉八卦网站PAGESIX说,这是MJ想要回归舞台的造型。
但谁知道呢?
Bad and dangerous!
That's the image Michael Jackson wants to project for his big comeback — as these designs show.
The “gangster chic” look (above) was created by costumer-to-the-stars Andre Van Pier, whose outfits Michael sported in videos and TV specials in the '80s and '90s.
“This is the style Michael is leaning toward when he gets back on stage,” Van Pier tells PageSix.com.
But when that might be remains unclear.
Van Pier (whose other superstar musical clients have included Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Beyoncé) says he created the new look for Michael last year, when the singer was hoping to mount a long-term, Celine Dion-like spectacle in Las Vegas.
Since that strategy seems to have fallen through, Michael is reportedly planning a Thriller 25 TV special, as well as an original comeback album.
Van Pier’s solar-powered costumes, which run more than $10,000 a pop, are made from a space-age fabric called prostein protein that changes color in reaction to stage lights. |
