席琳·迪翁将抵沪献演 2007年08月14日01:00 东方网-劳动报 　　本报讯 由上海世博会事务协调局、中国上海国际艺术节中心、上海市慈善基金会等联合举办的“迎世博·创和谐2007千人交响乐慈善艺术盛典”，将于11月3日、4日在上海大舞台举行第一年的演出。该演出由中国国家大剧院音乐艺术总监、著名指挥艺术家陈佐湟出任艺术总监与指挥，李云迪、黄蒙拉、秦立巍、戴玉强、廖昌永、谭元元及黄豆豆等杰出华人艺术家，和汇聚国内6个著名交响乐团的千人超大交响乐队联合献演。昨天下午，主办方在恒隆广场宣布，“迎世博·创和谐”第二年的演出将于2008年4月11日举行，内容是世界著名歌星席琳·迪翁的个人演唱会。 　　本次艺术盛典举办的日子恰逢世博会开幕倒计时910天，盛典旨在迎接中国2010年上海世博会，营造社会和谐气氛，借助高水准的交响音乐平台，用音乐语言向世界人民展现上海欢乐和谐的城市风貌，传递“城市，让社会更美好”的世博会主题。本次活动同时也被列为“第九届中国上海国际艺术节”的重要参演节目，两场演出票款将如数捐赠给上海慈善基金会。 　　据艺术总监陈佐湟介绍，由中国交响乐团、中央歌剧院交响乐团、上海交响乐团、上海爱乐乐团、厦门爱乐乐团和深圳交响乐团及参演艺术家组合的千人超大乐队阵容，不仅创下中国演出史上之最，而且在全世界的演出中也属罕见。要调动起这么一支庞大乐队，无论是前期筹备组织，还是整场演出的技术协调，都将是前所未有的挑战。 　　陈佐湟称，包括李云迪、黄蒙拉、秦立巍、戴玉强、廖昌永、谭元元及黄豆豆等，每一位都是炙手可热的艺术家，平时要请到他们中的一位都非常难，这次演出他们都一呼百应。“演出形式有别于传统音乐会或舞蹈专场演出，它将音乐和舞蹈水乳交融，舞台形式变化多彩，既有超级乐团气势恢宏的齐奏，又有常规乐团的细腻流畅，还有色彩斑斓的舞步，将带给观众全方位的视听享受。”作者:陆兰迪 消息暂未经官方证实

The Canadian-born chanteuse will begin the tour Feb. 14 with a corporate gala banquet at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg, followed by two shows in Pretoria.

She then moves to the South African resort cities of Durban and Port Elizabeth and has a final gig at the Vergelegen Wine Estate in Somerset West. Dion is touring in support of her album D'elles , with 13 tracks penned by female writers from Quebec and France. Her world tour continues with more than 100 shows in Belgium, France, Germany, the U.K. and Switzerland. She also has made tentative bookings for Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai in April.

Dion will be in Canada, with dates yet to be confirmed in Montreal and Toronto, in August 2008. She has been a resident artist in Las Vegas for five years, but will have her final appearance there Dec. 15. Dion has sold more than 175 million albums around the world, making her the No. 1-selling female artist of all time. She has 22 albums to her credit, including compilations. Her only break from performing came in 2000 when she was pregnant with son René-Charles.

Celine Dion's forthcoming English album The Woman in Me is an upcoming English album of Céline Dion scheduled for release between November 9 and November 12, 2007 in Europe and November 13, 2007 in North America. Dion is working with many various record producers, mainly on rock and R&B songs. Album information As of May 21, 2007, Céline Dion already recorded four songs for her new English project. Rock-oriented tracks were written and produced by Ben Moody.[3] One of them was co-written by Scott "Skippy" Chapman and Michael Tait. She continued the recording during her summer vacations between July 2, 2007 and August 15, 2007.The first result was a piano ballad written by Robert Wells and Anders Bagge. According to the ELLE article from July 2007, David A. Stewart from Eurythmics worked on a song for Dion, and R. Kelly wrote two tracks. Kara DioGuardi's song "Taking Chances" is slated to be the first single off of The Woman In Me. It was produced by David A. Stewart. The new album will include "I Knew I Loved You," performed by Céline Dion at the 2007 Academy Awards to honor Ennio Morricone. The song, based on a theme from Once Upon a Time in America, was featured on the CD We All Love Ennio Morricone. "I Knew I Loved You" with lyrics by Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman, was produced by Quincy Jones. In February 2007 Dion recorded a song with Annie Lennox for her new album Songs of Mass Destruction, which will be released on October 1, 2007. The track is called "Sing," it was produced by Glen Ballard and features many other female vocalists. But it's unlikely that it will be included on Dion's forthcoming English project. Céline Dion recorded also two versions (English and Italian) of her French song "La Diva" from D'Elles. One of them may become a part of her English album. Dion recorded the track "Eyes On You" co written by Delta Goodrem & Kristian Lundin to be included in this release. Dion was reported also working with: Walter Afanasieff, Peer Astrom, Babyface, Bryan Michael Cox, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Christopher Neil, Ne-Yo, Aldo Nova, Linda Perry, Nicolas Porte, John Shanks, and Timbaland.[12] It's possible that the album will include unreleased songs co-written by Céline Dion: "Isabella," "Drop by Drop" and "Over You Baby." The singer will promote this album during her D'Elles/The Woman In Me Tour in 2008.
