Woman claims to be mother of Michael Jackson's children
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- A British woman has filed a lawsuit at a Los Angeles court, claiming she is the mother of pop star Michael Jackson's three children, a report said on Tuesday.
Nona Paris Lola Jackson, who signed her name as "dudu," filed her papers on Friday, asking to have a say in the child custody settlement that has been reached between Jackson and his ex-wife Deborah Rowe, according to the CNS news service here.
A hearing on the woman's motion is set for late November in Los Angeles Superior Court. Jackson's lawyer, Michael L. Abrams, could not be immediately reached for comment.
The London woman, who refers to herself in court papers as a "black Jew born in Britain," maintains Rowe and Lisa Marie Presley, the singer's other ex-wife, never had sex with him.
Rowe originally had visitation rights with the couple's son Prince and daughter Paris, born in 1997 and 1998 respectively.
She filed for divorce in 1999 and later gave up her visitation rights, but changed her mind after Jackson was arrested on child molestation charges in 2004. The court ruled in her favor earlier this year.
Jackson was acquitted of the molestation allegations in June 2005 and is now living in Bahrain with his children.
Nona Jackson now claims she is the mother of Prince and Paris as well as Blanket, the child Jackson dangled out of a Berlin hotel balcony in 2002.
"Michael and I are a sexually active couple and have been this way from the beginning," the woman claims in court papers.
She also maintains in her court papers that she has written more than 3,000 songs for Jackson. |
