27 Mar 2006 - DJ WHOO KID LOST IN BAHRAIN
After a month long 50 Cent Tour in Australia, New Zealand, Tawain, and Thailand, DJ Whoo Kid separates from his cool boss 50. 50 Cent went to Morocco to start on his new
War movie with Samuel L Jackson and Whoo Kid started his Sada Pop Tour in Mexico and Canada finishing at the opening Formula 1 Race for the 2006 season in the Middle East where he would do red carpet, autograph signing and the official after party for the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix as a guest of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Alkhalifa, owner of 2 Sea's Record Label that recently signed none other than Michael Jackson onto the roster.
But me being a dickhead that I am, I lost my passport at the Dubai Airport during my 1 hour layover connecting to Bahrain. I didn't realize that it was missing until I got to Bahrain at the immigration desk. The Bahrain authorities were about to arrest my ass and send me back to America. I called the US Embassy for help but they put me on hold and told me to holla back and left me for dead. Thank God or should I say "Allah", for Prince Abdulla Hamad Alkhalifa"55" & Sheikh Salman Bin Isa Alkhalifa who I met on the runway, they made a royal phone call and got me into the country with no ID. **** was crazy, I walked thru with no problems or questions.
I came outside with Dan the Man and Tony (DJ Dirt T) filming me getting into the G-Unit Prince's 2006 Escalade with Lamborghini doors, with a new Porsche Turbo, Maybach Benz, 2006 Ferrari Spider at my choosing. We went straight to a private party which was set up for me where they spent $20,000 US on Cristal for no reason on all of us. At the party Tyson Beckford was there laughing at me for losing my passport. Next day the Sheikh was speeding up my passport situation and invited me over to the palace for dinner. John legend, Tyson Beckford, Simon Webb (UK group Blue ), was in there chillin'. After I chatted with my homies, ...to the right sitting on the couch sippin on lemonade was the King of Motha ****in Pop - MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!!!! POW!!!!! **** was unbelievable. I said wassup to Michael and he gave me a homey hug and a pound with the finger snap. I gave him respect and showed love for all he's done. He thought I was cool immediately and hanged with me all night. At the royal table he asked me to sit next to him where we spoke about his label deal, 50 Cent, Eminem, and Shakira. We agreed to do my future mixtape. I got him to curse and brought him down to earth and spoke to him like I would speak to my homies around the way. He asked if Eminem really retired and was wondering if 50 Cent would do any collabos with him. I gave him a beat cd with my beats and Alchemist tracks and he went nuts. John Legend also got Michael Jackson to work with Kanye West so that's a done deal also. I made the Sheikh and Michael and everyone at the table laugh their hearts out when I gave them my views on where HipHop is going and what's currently going on the states. Of course we were clowning about my crazy jokes and how good the lamb ass was tasting. He gave me some weird number (Michael) which reaches him at any time, so now we are official.
As for the Grand Prix itself **** was crazy. People from all around the world had come to watch the first race of the season and a dude called Alonzo beat the guy racing the Ferrari to first place. And there I was thinking that Ferrari always came first. At the race John Legend was doing the celebrity race and I couldn't believe that the RnB smooth guy managed to race the complicated car with the stick without crashing. The hospitality at the GP was amazing. I got to meet a couple hundred of my fans who were going crazy and couldn't believe that I'd come all the way from NY to watch the race and do the after-party. At the party, Simon Webbe was singing stuff from his new album and people were going crazy. Tyson Beckford got on the mic and people wanted to party till the break of dawn. Look out for the DVD about the trip soon!
My passport situation was reduced from waiting 15 days to 3 days thanks to the Prince. I enjoyed the culture, the food, and the people of Bahrain. I cant believe how many cars were bumping DJ Whoo Kid cds or the g-unit album. They love 50 Cent, Kanye, Jay Z, 2pac, BIG, and Daddy Yankee. I couldn't believe how hip-hop has invaded to this growing Muslim country which is competing with Dubai. I hanged with so many royalty from 19 year old millionaires and took pics with 10 year olds worth over 100million who couldn't believe that they were meeting me. (It shouldve been the other way around). DJ Whoo Kid's #1 fan Prince Abdulla "55" decided to fly back on a private jet with a couple of his homies to do "G-UNIT RADIO" show on Shade 45 Sirius Sattelite Radio live on next Saturday the 25th. They will teach all of you ignorant people a thing or two about their culture and how hip-hop has inspired them and Bahrain. I did it all out there and was very comfortable with no worries even after John Legend and Tyson had to leave to go back to the states.
The conclusion to this story is that, look at where this mixtape **** has taken me to. Just when I thought that I did it all from meeting Nelson Mendela to performing at Madison Square Garden with 50, to doing a TV Show with Eminem and finally meeting The King of Pop, wow! Is it ever going to end for this crazy haitian guy from Queens Village? The main thing I've learned is to never stereotype an Arab person again. They are one of the coolest and loving people on the planet. I wont let 5,000 Alqaida dickhead bombers or bull**** CNN or George Bush make me think that they are all like that . AssaLamu Alakem !!!!!!!
Check out the new www.shadyville.biz and watch pow tv to see a sample of what DJ Whoo Kid did out in Bahrain or go to www.MTV.co.uk/news on the 14th March archive to watch the news clip on Whoo Kid and Michael Jackson. POW!!!!!
Ps. Special thanks to Rashid aka the arab shiznit for taking care of me during my lostness in Bahrain. Also DJ Dirt T and Saif aka (the non liar who delivers on what he says) for keeping me safe and Prince Abdulla"55" aka the GUNIT prince for showing me how to really ball. US dollars aint **** !!!! pow!
