Le 10 décembre 2010 restera une journée particulière dans la vie de la musique. C'est en effet depuis ce jour-là que le premier album posthume de Michael Jackson, intitulé « Michael », a été publié. Après les singles « Breaking News » et « Hold My Hand » avec la participation du rappeur Akon, voici la chanson « Behind The Mask » de Michael Jackson. Cette nouvelle chanson est l'un de choix de l'artiste. En effet, Michael Jackson avait enregistré le titre au milieu des années 80.
« Behind The Mask » contient un échantillon du titre « Behind The Mask » enregistré originellement par le groupe Yellow Magic Orchestra, groupe japonais d'electro-pop formé en 1978.
