Debbie Gibson的简介

在西洋流行音乐史上，曾经出现过无数的青春偶像，早期的偶像歌手，大多都以外型取胜，但是到了80年代末期，这种情况有所改变，逐渐涌现出了一些有创作能力的新人，其中Debbie Gibson 就是最早，也是最年轻的一位。

Debbie Gibson 黛比·吉布森，于1970年出生于纽约。她从小就喜爱音乐，在童年时，Debbie就曾多次显现了她那过人的天赋。1986年，美国亚特兰大唱片公司发行了她在13岁时创作的一首歌曲“Only In My Dreams”（只是在梦里）。该曲很快便荣登舞曲排行榜的榜首，而Debbie也于一夜之间成为了全球青少年们的崇拜偶像。

1988年，以“When Foolish Beat”(愚蠢的冲动）一曲更登上了单曲排行榜的榜首。同年发行的首张专辑“OUT OF THE BLUE”（不再忧郁）达到了白金销量，她成为了美国流行音乐史上最年轻的获得白金唱片荣誉的创作歌手。

次年又出版了她的第二张专辑《ELECTRIC YOUTH》（电子青年），同样取得了极为出色的成绩。反映了青年人的愿望和要求，受到青少年的广泛欢迎。专辑推出后， Debbie 成了北美最有名气的年轻人之一。并因此而获得了“最佳女艺术家”“最佳青少年演员”，“本年度最佳新星”等一大串荣誉。

Debbie Gibson是有史以来亲手包装、制作、并演唱而获得冠军的女歌手中，最年轻的一个，整个80年代末期最成功的创作型偶像女星，不但在歌坛上名声显赫，而且也精于戏剧，也曾在《悲惨世界》《火暴浪子》等音乐剧中担任女主角。成为当时演艺界中引人注目的新星。

来自纽约长岛的八○年代青春玉女偶像歌手黛比吉布森1987年以17岁的稚龄推出畅销3白金的首张专辑「Out Of The Blue」，并从其中发行五支单曲，Only In My Dreams、Shake Your Love、Out Of The Blue都洋溢著青春的舞曲气息，到了Foolish Beat抒情的旋律终於拿下单曲冠军。1989年初「Electric Youth」专辑乘胜推出，甜美的歌喉与邻家女孩的形象仍然大受欢迎，其中Lost In Your Eyes又是冠军曲，也是黛比个人演唱生涯的代表作。进入九○年代後20岁的黛比亟欲摆脱偶像歌手歌路开始转型，於是出版「Anything Is Possible」和「Body Mind Soul」两张偏向摇滚的专辑。黛比较其他偶像歌手最大不同就在於写曲与制作的能力，不光只靠年轻与脸蛋，这可得归功於她5岁拜师学习钢琴，6岁尝试词曲创作并在经纪人指导下研习演奏、录音、制作、编曲等相关课程等等的努力。这张精选里的歌首首都由黛比亲自写作，乐迷们正可由此精选中重温黛比吉布森刚出到时稚嫩却充满青春活力的歌声。
