刚刚偶然看到一篇文章，原来作者就是羽西，原来印象不错，但是看完最后一句，有点奇怪的感觉（正好也看到论坛里有个标题是这样写的，借用下）
照片不想转了，为她费时间，不值得，顺便和大家分享一下好了，在这个焦虑的时刻，为迈的诉讼焦虑，心情不太好。

51届格莱美刚结束，网上有太多美丽衣服的照片，我想我还是写一些它背后的故事，介绍一些你们应该认识的人。在光鲜背后，你们需要知道的那些有着强大能力的人。

I am in  Los Angeles  for a week, but it is a special week， I attended the Grammies.

This is once a year event when the American music industry honors their best!  It is a production in the Staples Center, which is a huge enclosed stadium in Los Angeles.  I believe it has like 20000 seats and it hosts numerous events a year, like ball games, the concerts and even the Michael Jackson memorial.  This year, Shanghai has the first AEG stadium.  AEG manages the Stapes Center, and many others.  They will start managing the Performing Arts Center just built for Shanghai World Expo  Amazing looking building.

整整一周我都在洛杉矶，因为参加了格莱美，让这个星期显得非常特别。

一年一度的格莱美奖只颁给这个领域里最出色的人，本届的格莱美在Staples中心举办，这里有20000个座位，不久前举办了Michael Jackson的葬礼。喜欢篮球的朋友一定知道这里，他是洛杉矶5家篮球队的主场。2010年世博会让上海也有了第一个AEG场馆（AEG旗下有很多场馆，Staple Center是其中之一）。

The Grammies is one of the important events in the United States.  I would rank the events in order of importance like this:  Oscars, Grammies, the Tonies (for the theatre industry in the USA held in New York), the Golden Globes (movies too in Los Angeles)  These are really elaborate productions.  I brought my friends from Shanghai TV there this year, they were really impressed too with how amazingly professional the production is.

格莱美对美国的音乐界非常重要，基本上，奥斯卡、格莱美、托尼奖，金球奖，都是对整个世界产生重要影响的奖项。

Pre-Grammies the night before was always a great dinner given by Mr. Clive Davis, a record company executive par-excellence.  He is in his 80's and works like a 40 year old.  so vibrant and so powerful. It is dinner with a show, a very good show featuring some great artists.  This year, he featured the Black Eye Peas, Mary J. Blige, Harry Connick Jr, (picture with himCarrie Underwood (what a voice). Jennifer Hudson. People that attended were the most important people in the industry too.  We also see movie stars, like Jane Fonda, and politician like the powerful Willy Brown!  Great singers also there, like Barbara Streisand, Roberta Flacks.  Many people consider this dinner more important than the Grammies, and that these are the most difficult tickets to obtain in Los Angeles.

Clive Davis先生举办了一个很大的晚宴，都80岁了，工作起来还像个年轻人一样！晚宴上会有很棒的演出，音乐、电影界的大牌人物都会系数到场，今年我就见到了简方达，芭芭拉史翠珊……很多人都把这个晚宴当成比格莱美奖还重要的事情，这就是为什么它成了洛杉矶最难搞到票子的活动。

After the Clive Davis dinner, we tagged along with Quincy to one of the numerous parties.  This one he chose to go to (obviously the best one in town)  was hosted by Jimmy Ivy, the owner of  the most successful record company today.  It was held in his house.  a gorgeous house as a lot of houses in LA are!  Everyone was there...all the great singers, Mary j blige,  will.i.am, beyonce, rihanna, Usher were all there.  We had a ball!

The Grammies  was great this year! The show was really well produced. As you know,  it features the most important talents past and current this year.  Some of the programs this year are really outstanding.  Pink, the short short hair singer was incredible.  The Black Eye Peas were exceptional in their presentation.  They are great talents.  Do you know the lead of the group is called Will.i.am. He is so talented.  He tells me that he writes all the music for his group.  I told him to write a song particularly for the China market, I really hope he will do it. He also designs all the outstanding costumes.  He also loves China and has already toured China.  The lead female singer is Fergie. she is amazing too!!!  The other outstanding act of the evening is Mary J. Blige.  Wow, what a performance.

今年的格莱美真是太棒了，而且从前和现今的重量级有才华的人物都到了，整场典礼制作精良，节目也异彩纷呈。Pink，黑眼豆豆，你们知道Will.i.am吗（上面左边胸口有白框眼镜那位），名字就很有意思，你看过一次就一定能记住。他给这些人写歌，不仅写歌啦，连华丽的演出服都是他设计的！真希望他能为中国也写写歌。

But the most memorable part is the part that they honored Michael Jackson.  Lionel Ritchie, and 4 great artists sang a song Michael which brought the house down.  Wow, such voices and such power.  the song was beautiful.  What a waste of talents that he died so young.  We all miss Michael a lot.  He did influence so much of American music.  His most important album Thriller was the most sold album all ALL TIMES.  the Producer was Quincy Jones, and he also wrote some of the songs too.  Do you know that since Michael died, Quincy told me that they have sold 23 million of this song?  amazing number!

The room was filled with talents and the Who's Who in the American music industry and also special guests.  I attended the Grammies before, in NYC.  but at the Stapes Center, it was really perfection.

The red carpet was managed real well.  I have been on endless red carpets in China. I have never been to one that is as well managed!  (oh, of course, they have had 50 years to practice to perfection)  You walk in, take photos. but then you walk through a string of "booths"  ONLY the biggest networks can get booths and then followed by the smaller stations at the end.  the front loaded ones are CNN, E.T. (entertainment tonight),  AP wires, etc etc.

I was attending the event with the KING of music, Quincy Jones. He is really King here in the music world, highly respected and loved.  In fact 50 years ago, he was one of the founding member of the Grammies. And he has the highest number of nominations ever by the Grammies, something like 78 nominations! He also received like 37 awards! I sat next to him.

Today, I received endless number of emails from friends who tell me that they saw me on TV sitting next to him!

音乐教父Quincy Jones，相信常来我博客的朋友早就熟悉他了，真正的KING！50年前，他也是格莱美的创始人之一！迄今，他还是格莱美提名最多的人，提名78次，获奖37次！

整场我都坐在他旁边，这几天不断有朋友发来短信和邮件说在电视上看到了我，你看到了吗？
